okay guys, we got a little situation here. in case you didn't already know, Marshall, Jack, Danny, and I have started a new band. since jack is going to be gone for pretty much the rest of the summer, starting friday, we want to have as much sociopathica practice as possible before then. so, that means monday is a sociopathica day...as well as wednesday and possibly thursday. but, we could move yttrius to tuesday.
we don't mean to just blatantly blow it off, but we're really on a roll in sociopathica. we were thinking that you guys might want to see what we're talking about by coming to the sociopathica practice tomorrow. we can introduce you to the band. all yttrius and former yttrius members are welcome to come. just drop by action jackson's at 7:30 and it will end at 9. yeah, sociopathica practices go late. i'm hoping you guys show up.

oh just come out and say it
i saw it coming from a mile off
just dissolve yttrius now and get it over with
that's not wat he's saying jewfro you're taking this way too hard
ok so is Yttrius over and if so are all members of Yttrius part of sociopathica?
oh and where do you live acjack
no
not that...just danny me marshall and nick
that's it
942 pine street winnetka illinois
call me a pessimist, but from what i've seen, sociopathica is better than yttrius
which means that you guys will spend more time there
which means we'll almost all the time have no guitar or bass
which means we'll have less practices
which means, since we already kinda suck (no offense guys, i'm just pessimist,) we'll end up going nowhere
which means we'll end up breaking up
i mean no offense at all, i'm just feeling dark right now
i saw this...
i don't know if i speak for everyone but i think our standing was we were giong to try to be part of two bands and if yttrius died then it was a good run for our money...i'm probably not allowed to say that because i was only in the band for ahwile (pronounced ah- Hwy - uhl)
but it was fun....tho it was wierd having like 8 people in the band.... it was kind of an immature thing to have that many people in the band..
yeah, you're right about yttrius sucking, but that doesn't mean that you have to give up. you guys just need to be more motivated. and you need to schedule stuff and pick the right songs and everything. we'll figure out all the yttrius problems on tuesday
i'll be sociopathica's first fan tho
maybe start up a new band...
also, just to make it rock solid, sociopathica= Nick, Danny, Jack, Marshall
just make sure to come to the sciopathica introduction tomorrow.
yeah, you guys can do whatever you want. join other bands, start new ones, whatever. you can be in more than one band at a time.
no can do tuesday

where are we going to figure out Yttrius's problems?
an anonymous outside observer
I know of Yttrius through a former member. This is just my outside opinion.
A. The fact that your band had too many members is one thing. The idea of cutting out half of the band is ridiculous, especially since you're replacing some of them anyway, completely negating the idea of cutting back on band members. If I were you, I'd keep it simple. One vocalist, one guitarist, one bass player, and one drummer.
B. The biggest problem about Yttrius in my outside opinion is the entire premise of your band is far too clustered. You have too many members, and too many songs that your members can't play. You should start by focusing on maybe one or two songs at a time. Make sure you actually can play them well, which means working outside of band practice. Trust me, I was in a lame cover band once too. THEN worry about learning new songs.
At this point I would say scrap Yttrius and start fresh with Sociopathica. In other words, start on a good foot. And take your time with this one. Rushing a band is pointless. It only works occasionaly, and it sure as hell isn't working for you. Heed my advice, youngens.
For those of you in Sociopathica, get a standard band lineup ASAP. As in before you even consider actually starting said band. It's one thing if you have the idea of starting a band, but it's another thing to actually have everyone and everything you need to get it started.
So let's go down the list here:
A. Get the standard lineup (one of everything)
B. Pick one or two songs, and get really really good at it before you move on.
C. Actually make sure you're happy with the lineup so you don't just add new members and then later decide to drop your old ones.
I hope to see you all there tomorrow at 7:30. However, if you arrive before 7:30, you may be barred from entrance to practice space if we are still working.
We will figure out Yttrius's problems at the next Yttrius practice, which, if it is after Action Jackson leaves, will most certainly be attended by me and Nick. We don't want to kill Yttrius. We would greatly enjoy seeing both bands prosper. A little more motivation is all that will take.
As a final side note, the next practice should, I think, not be Tuesday, as that will result in neither Jewfro nor my presence.
To the observer:
That is more or less what we did. Except for the get really good at two songs. We are arranging about four before the end of this week, due to the fact that we will have about a month to do nothing but practice in while our drummer's family drags him to France.
I feel pretty lost in all of this...
No matter what happens, I think I lose. :P
By the way, observer: who are you? No need to be anonymous really, and I'm curious.
I can most likely make it to the sociopathica thing, but I need a ride. By the way, anonymous, who are you? You seem to feel the same way I felt about the band.
Nobody has to lose. Stuff will change. Yttrius might end (I'd like to once again point out I'm not trying to kill it). But everyone has options. Also, any confusion will be cleared up tomorrow at 7:30.
i've got it... the observer...is one of us!!!!
but it's not me because i didn't use my computer last tnight...the last post i made was at 237
i want to father your babies observer you are like super awesome
cuz i can do that...my mommy said i'm "special"
I am not a member of Yttrius, past or present.
I am but the anonymous guiding voice, and I shall remain anonymous.
hey, i bet you're sam gelfand or george williams or someone like that
and by the way, sociopathica is doing pretty much exactly what you said. so far, its been working alot better with just the four of us
